Reset. Don't coat.

A deep-cleansing clarifying shampoo for dreadlocks, made to reset your hair when sweat, styling products, oils and everyday residue have built up inside the locs.

Build-up is the thing dreadlock wearers worry about most, and it gets worse in Qatar. Mineral-heavy water leaves a film that ordinary shampoo does not fully rinse away, so layer sits on layer until the hair stops feeling like hair and starts feeling coated.

Why use it

DEEP CLEAN
A reset wash for when your regular shampoo is no longer getting your dreadlocks properly clean.

MADE FOR HARD WATER
Light, water-friendly textures that rinse out instead of leaving a residue behind.

LOC-FRIENDLY APPROACH
Designed around the reality that dreadlock wearers do not want unnecessary material left behind in their hair.

NO WHITE FLAKES
Rinses clear, so there is nothing sitting at the roots after a retwist.

How to use it

Wet your dreadlocks. Apply the detox shampoo and leave it for ten minutes, then rinse until the water runs clear. Use it once a week until your hair feels light again, then keep it for whenever your routine needs a reset.

Best for

When your dreadlocks feel coated, your scalp needs a deeper cleanse, or your routine needs a reset. Follow with LocShield Weightless Shampoo and Conditioner for your regular wash days.

Test it yourself

Wash, then dry with a fresh white towel. A visible grey film means product is still sitting in the hair. It is the simplest test there is.

200 ml. Stocked in Qatar and delivered in 48 hours.

How to use
  1. Wet your dreadlocks a little bit to make it way easier to apply
  2. Put it all over your dreadlocks, especially wherever you have damage.
  3. If you have healthy dreadlocks at the roots, just apply it to the stem or tips. It's all right.
  4. Let it sit for 10 minutes only. The treatment will be able to get in and repair your dreadlocks even if you haven't washed them first.
  5. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
  6. Follow with your weightless volumizing shampoo & conditioner.

When to use

A reset wash rather than an everyday shampoo. Use it once every few washes, or whenever product, oils and sweat have built up and your dreadlocks start to feel coated.
